1. From Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN)
As the main gateway, there are two common ways to travel from the airport to the leather market:
Option A: Airport Express Bus (Economic & Direct)
We recommend Airport Express Line 1 (Airport -> Baima Building). It takes you directly to the Guangzhou Railway Station area, a short walk from the Leather City.
- Boarding Point: T1 (Gate B10-B13) or T2 (West Side Bus Station, Transportation Center).
- Hours: 00:10 – 23:45, departs every 20-30 minutes.
- Duration: Approx. 60 minutes.
- Fare: ~22 RMB (Cash or WeChat/Alipay).
- Last Mile: Get off at “Baima Building (Guangzhou Railway Station)”. From there, walk about 1.2km, or take a short taxi ride to the market.
Option B: Metro (Fast & Punctual)
- Route: Take Line 3 (North Extension) towards Tiyu Xilu -> Transfer at Jiahe Wanggang Station to Line 2 (towards Guangzhou South) -> Get off at Yuexiu Park Station.
- Walking Guide: Exit from Yuexiu Park Station. Walk 250m to the bus stop, take Bus #58 for 1 stop to “Guihuagang Station”, then walk 250m to the market.
- Pro Tip: If you have luggage, just take a taxi from the Metro exit (approx. 12 RMB).
- Payment: Ticket machines accept cash (5/10 RMB notes) or you can use Alipay (Transport QR) directly at the turnstile if you have linked your foreign credit card.
- Fare: ~12 RMB.
2. From Guangzhou South Railway Station (High-Speed Rail)
If you are arriving by High-Speed Train (HSR) from other Chinese cities:
- Best Route: Take Metro Line 2 (towards Jiahe Wanggang).
- Station: Ride for 14 stops and get off at Yuexiu Park Station.
- Last Mile: Same as above (Walk or take Bus #58 to Guihuagang).
- Duration: Approx. 1 hour.
- Fare: ~8 RMB.
- Alternative (Taxi): If carrying heavy luggage, a taxi/Uber (Didi) takes 40-60 minutes and costs 80-120 RMB.
3. From Guangzhou Railway Station
This is the closest hub to the market.

From the station square, take Bus #58, #24, or #244 for 1 stop to “Guihuagang Station”. Walk 250m.- Cost: 2 RMB.
- Option B: Walking (Recommended)
If you have light luggage, it is a 20-25 minute walk (1.6km). Walk north along Jiefang North Road, and you will see the Baiyun World Leather Trading Centre signage.
